What is Brow Tattooing?

Brow tattooing, also known as microblading or micro-pigmentation, is a permanent cosmetic procedure aimed at enhancing the appearance of eyebrows. It involves the meticulous application of pigment into the skin's surface using fine needles, creating natural-looking hair-like strokes or soft shading. This treatment is ideal for anyone looking to define, reshape, or fill in sparse eyebrows, providing a long-lasting solution to achieve your desired brow aesthetic. Whether you are seeking to achieve fuller brows, correct asymmetry, or simply reduce your daily makeup routine, brow tattooing offers a convenient and effective way to achieve beautifully sculpted eyebrows tailored to your goals.

 Which style is best for me? 

Every set of brows we create is totally bespoke to you.  We understand that one size does not fit all and we will carefully take into consideration your skin type and colouring, bone and muscle structure, your lifestyle and goals during the consultation process.  The options available include:

Powder Brow: Achieve a makeup-like finish with powder brows, ranging from soft to defined depending on your preference. Versatile and suitable for all, powder brows are an excellent choice, particularly for covering up old semi-permanent makeup.

​

Combination Brow: For a natural look with added body and definition, consider a combination brow. This style combines hair strokes in the bulb section of the brow with a powder finish, ideal for those with sparse brows seeking enhanced color and shape.

Hairstroke Brows: Mimic the natural flow of eyebrow hairs with individual hair strokes, resulting in soft, ultra-realistic brows. Perfect for a subtle, age-appropriate appearance, hairstroke brows are suitable for most skin types, though may not be ideal for oily skin. 

​

How long does it take?

You'll undergo two sessions spaced four - six weeks apart to refine your brows. During these sessions, we'll explore your desired outcomes, determining the ideal style and shape tailored to you. We'll pre-draw the shape and agree a colour based on your skin type and colouring, offering a selection of hues to create a bespoke shade that suits you.

The initial session lasts a couple of hours, while the second session is shorter, focusing on refining and ensuring optimal pigment coverage for long lasting results.

​

In some cases, an additional session may be necessary. Like any art form, each canvas - our skin - is unique, influencing the final outcome. Should further adjustments be needed, additional sessions can be arranged, with charges based on the required work.

I have old Permanent Make Up, can you cover it?

If you have previous PMU ink, please inform us before booking your consultation. We'll need to assess your brows to determine if we can work with the existing pigment. Clear photos or videos of your brows can be emailed to InfoAmyB@gmail.com.

Is the treatment painful?

Any discomfort will be minimal as we ensure you are comfortable throughout the process.  In most instances the feedback from clients is that the treatment is more relaxing than they imagined, with most people falling into a relaxed state of sleep.

​

What is the healing process?

Expect your brows to heal fully over 4-6 weeks, during which the true color will emerge. Initially, they may appear darker before settling after a few days. Some tenderness and swelling are normal initially but will diminish over time. We'll provide detailed aftercare instructions to maximise your results.

How long can I expect my Brow Tattooing to last?

Although Brow Tattooing falls under the realm of permanent makeup, the pigments we use are formulated to gradually fade within the skin. This deliberate approach ensures that your results maintain a natural appearance and prevents the skin from becoming overly saturated. Various factors influence the longevity of your brows. Typically, we recommend a Colour Boost around the 18-month mark to keep your brows looking their finest.

How much does the treatment cost?

Our Bespoke PMU Brows are £350, split across your deposit and two sessions 4-6 weeks apart. 

 

Do I need a Consultation?

We will carry out a Consultation with you at the start of your first session to discuss options and your end goals before we begin.  If you would prefer to come in for a face to face Consultation to ask any questions and discuss the options available to you.  You can schedule one here.  We charge £20 for a face to face Consultation, which comes off the balance of your treatment if you decide to go ahead.  Our inbox is always open if you want to reach out to us to ask any questions before then.
